Alexander is the founding attorney and managing partner of The Kaufman Law Firm. Born and raised in New York, Mr. Kaufman learned the value of hard work and resilience, which now fuels his unwavering commitment to justice for his clients and unwillingness to be pushed over by large corporations and insurance companies. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama, graduating Magna Cum Laude in just three and a half years. He then studied law at the highly ranked Texas A&M University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Kaufman was a member of the mock trial team, representing the university in state and national competitions.

Before founding The Kaufman Law Firm, Mr. Kaufman strategically built his experience at five respected personal injury law firms, ranging from small solo practices to large multi-state litigation firms, including prominent firms in downtown Manhattan. These roles equipped him with a well-rounded perspective and the proven ability to navigate complex legal cases of all sizes.

Mr. Kaufman values building strong relationships with his clients. He takes the time to understand their unique stories and needs, ensuring they receive the personalized attention they deserve during some of the most traumatic times of their lives.

When he is not advocating for his clients, Mr. Kaufman enjoys spending time with friends and family, lifting weights, fishing, working on cars, and enjoying Texas barbecue.

Chief Financial Officer

Neil serves as the Chief Financial Officer of The Kaufman Law Firm. He is not an attorney, but rather a Certified Public Accountant with decades of high-level financial, accounting, and operational experience. His extensive background in financial management and strategic planning brings a unique and valuable perspective to the firm’s operations and long-term growth.

Before joining The Kaufman Law Firm, Neil was a partner at Newman, Newman & Kaufman, LLP, a respected accounting firm in New York that focused heavily on cooperative and condominium financial management throughout New York City. During his tenure, he advised cooperative boards, condominium associations, and real estate entities on a wide range of complex financial matters, helping clients maintain financial stability, improve operational efficiency, and plan for long-term success.

Neil has more than thirty-five (35) years of experience in the real estate industry, including more than thirty-two (32) years dedicated specifically to the cooperative and condominium sector. He has extensive experience consulting on sophisticated financial transactions, including refinancing analysis, offering plan residential and commercial allocations, treasury stock transactions appurtenant to corporate-owned units, budgeting, reserve planning, and long-term financial forecasting.

Neil earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
